Keep it close.

A compact form designed around the things you already carry, with a physical pull-trigger concept that keeps activation within reach.

Make some noise.

An audible alarm is at the heart of the design, intended to draw attention when it matters. Sound performance will be confirmed through prototype testing.

Build the connection.

We’re developing a companion app with the goal of connecting the device to a phone for contact alerts and location sharing.

The device and app are in development. Phone compatibility, emergency communication, and final specifications are still being validated.

The She’Safe team

It started with the people in our own lives. And a question: what could we build to help them feel more confident going about theirs?

Founded by students from Lake Zurich High School, She’Safe grew out of a school business incubator and a shared interest in making personal safety more accessible.

For co-founder Zachary Dannegger, thinking about his cousins’ safety at college helped make the mission personal. Today, our team is turning that motivation into product design, electronics, and a companion app.

We’re still building. We’re learning, testing, and taking the details seriously—because the people who may one day carry She’Safe deserve that care.

Can I buy She’Safe yet?

Not yet. She’Safe is in development, and we aren’t taking orders or preorders. We’ll share availability once the product is ready.

What is the device designed to do?

We’re developing a compact personal safety device with physical activation and an audible alarm. A companion app is being developed for planned phone-based features, including alerts to trusted contacts and location sharing. Final features will be confirmed before launch.

Will it work with my phone?

Phone compatibility and app availability have not been finalized. We’ll publish supported devices and setup requirements when the app is ready for release.

Does it automatically contact emergency services?

Automatic emergency calling is a development goal, not an available or confirmed capability. Emergency communication depends on the final app, supported phone permissions, connectivity, and testing. We’ll be clear about exactly what is supported before launch.
